Exeter-based four-piece alternative rock band TORROCOL released their debut single, ‘Hole In My Heart’, on 14 August 2026.

The track is taken from the band’s debut EP, ‘Beside My Skull’, which is due for release on 11 September 2026.

TORROCOL say ‘Hole In My Heart’ is about mourning a recently lost relationship in which the narrator had no power over the outcome. The band describe the song as starting as a “groovy soft rock track” before developing into a wall of guitars in its second half.

The track was recorded at Exeter University’s recording studio and was self-produced, mixed and mastered.

TORROCOL are an alternative rock band based in Exeter. The band describe their music as blending “huge riffs, atmospheric textures and emotionally charged songwriting”, with influences including Muse, Queens of the Stone Age and Royal Blood.

Following a series of live performances across Exeter, the band say they are preparing to celebrate the release of ‘Beside My Skull’ with their biggest headline show to date, featuring ‘Hole In My Heart’.
