Elowen’s single ‘On The Road To Music’ grew from her longing to make music while spending long journeys travelling back and forth to college.

The song grew from the time Elowen spent travelling regularly back and forth to college. She says it came from “longing to make music” while stuck on those journeys and thinking about what she wanted to be doing instead.

Elowen describes herself as a soul, R&B and jazz fanatic, with writing and playing music a lifelong ambition. Her connection to the South West is Bude.

For ‘On The Road To Music’, Elowen worked with Exeter producer Benny G. It was her first experience of working with a producer, and she describes him as “amazing to work with” and “insanely talented”.
