Leonian Dream announces 2026 Bridport Arts Centre residency.

Leonian Dream had a big year in 2025, releasing their debut EP, touring across the country, and beginning work on a new album. Now, the atmospheric indie-rock band is keeping up the pace in 2026 with a three-night residency at the Bridport Arts Centre in the South West.

What to expect from Leonian Dream?

Leonian Dream have built a distinct presence in alternative rock, spending the past few years perfecting their performances in front of audiences in Cardiff, Birmingham, Sheffield, and Bristol, as well as at festivals nationwide. Their packed-out shows at Bridport Arts Centre last year led to an invitation to curate three nights of music there in 2026.

Their headline show will see the culmination of their efforts come to fruition, as they bring their unique , sweet vocals (with a sting in the tail), big guitars and driving rhythms back to Bridport for these hometown shows, where they’ll be playing songs from their EP and new pieces written for their upcoming album.

The venue:

The Bridport Arts Centre is located in West Dorset, and has secured itself as the main cultural hotspot for the area due to its varied and versatile programme of music, theatre, spoken word and comedy. The venue hosts everything from touring shows and exhibitions to film screenings, always focusing on serving the local community. This ethos extends to providing a stage for performers from the grassroots music scene, putting eyes and ears onto new music.

With this community outlook in mind, beyond these headline sets, Leonian Dream have carefully crafted the supporting lineups for every evening to make each show truly special. Being proudly from the region, the band have chosen to make each night a showcase for the best of the South West music scene, giving opportunities to other up-and-coming independent artists handpicked by the band themselves. These highlighted artists have been selected from a wide range of genres: rock, indie pop and even funk, with each show featuring a different mix of performers, meaning that no two nights of this gig series will feel the same.

Who’s on the lineup?

Friday 17th July 2026

The band’s residency premiere takes place on Friday 17th July, with a feel-good lineup of upbeat artists to start things off in a positive way, matching the summer vibes. Joining Leonian Dream on this debut night are Devon’s Saff Juno, a singer-songwriter who creates radio-friendly indie pop and Lota, a four-piece, funk-rock band from the neighbouring town of Dorchester.

Night two of the gig series takes place on Saturday, 26th September and promises to turn the volume up to 11, with two South West emerging rock bands. Alongside Leonian Dream, pop-punk three-piece, Playdate’s zestful performance style and catchy songs have brought them to the attention of BBC Introducing, while Plymouth’s (but with two Bridport natives on guitars) RatTrap bring garage-rock and boomy guitars to a night of pure rock joy.

Saturday 21st November 2026

The grand finale brings it all home on Saturday 21st November, with a mix of sounds for everyone. Dorset native George Hall has been making a name for himself with his brand of roots-rock and distinctly Chicago-flavoured blues to the stage, while Plymouth-based singer-songwriter Kate Hall offers some R&B sweetness before Leonian Dream take to the stage for the last time of their 2026 residency.
