Is there disability access? Unfortunately no.

Accommodation and Travel:

Exeter Central Station is a 10-minute walk from our location, and there are many nearby bus stops, which help you travel all across Devon.

Does your venue provide food/refreshments? Move does not provide any food but does have a bar with a great variety of beverages.

Can you recommend eateries or restaurants near your venue? The Prospect, Puerto Lounge.

Places of Interest:

Are there any notable attractions, landmarks, or points of interest near your venue that visitors may enjoy exploring? On the Quay with lovely local historic buildings.

Is there a recommended record shop/music shop/place of musical interest nearby? There are no particular music shops near the location.

Quick-fire faves

Most memorable gig? Our most memorable performance from late was the headline of Getdown Services just at the end of last year. On the end of their album release tour they were supported by Flavour the Wiicked, Pack of Animals and Boss Cass (aka Fluff). The line up was full of plenty of incredible local talent and an excellent headliner.

Best booking so far for 2024? Best for 2024 so far has probably been the show headlined by Leonard and the Zombies for their very successful EP release. They were supported by Lady Shoulderz, Acid Era and Obvious Reasons. These 4 amazing local bands brought a good sized audience and made for a very fun night.

Describe the venue in three words? Fun, Loud, Exciting.

If the venue was a season, what would it be? Autumn.

– Chelsea Branch

Chelsea Branch, a roots, rocksteady, reggae and everything in between enthusiast. First gig was to see the Ordinary Boys at the Lemon Grove (Exeter) at 16 after taking a liking to their Ska-inspired track 'Rudy's in Love' (and the frontman, Preston). After University, she spent seven years in brilliant Bristol, revelling in its dynamic music scene—a move very much inspired by a first-time visit to St Paul's Carnival. She now lives in Exeter alongside her partner Bev, embracing Devon country life and swapping sound systems for sea swimming and scriptwriting.
