Adam Sweet delivers brooding blues and roots-rock, balancing richly detailed song writing with soulful vocals and expertly piercing guitar work. Taking his cue from the British blues boom of the late 60s and early 70s, he has been carving out his own territory at the crossroads of classic rock, blues and Americana since first hitting the live scene in the South West of England at just 15. Having worked in various guises; solo acoustic performer, session player and band leader; he's developed a consummate ability to shift effortlessly from sensitive singer-songwriter to full-throttle blues rocker. Adam's acclaimed acoustic performances with just his acoustic guitar and stomp box for company have seen him play every kind of venue, from the most intimate house concerts and bar rooms to theatres and festivals across the UK and Europe. With the Adam Sweet Band he was crowned Introducing Stage winner at The Great British Rock and Blues Festival and was nominated in the UK Blues Emerging Act of the Year category at the 2025 and 2026 UK Blues Awards. 2026 will see Adam releasing his next studio album, following on from his acclaimed previous releases Live at Crescent Records (2024) and Sink or Swim (2020).
