Involving Music are pleased to introduce you to 3 Days of Wonder.
Brought together by a mutual love of stadium rock from acts such as U2 and Bruce Springsteen, 3 Days of Wonder have quickly risen through the South West music scene and staked their claim as a band ready to take on the mantle of a future arena headliner.
Their hook-filled choruses show their focus on getting in people’s ears and staying firmly lodged in their heads, while their combination of on-the-edge-of-breakup guitars and sparkling synths is designed to fill the mix and create a sonic picture bigger than the sum of its parts. These are songs dressed for the job they want, and they intend to be ready when the opportunity comes.
Who is in the band?
Luke Notman is the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist. Theo Miller is our drummer and backing vocalist. Our lead guitarist (and fellow backing vocalist) is Remy Earp and Josh Gidley plays bass guitar and, of course, backing vocals.
Where are you from? / Where are you based now?
Luke was born in Manchester, dragged up in Devon and is based near Teignmouth. Theo is from Exeter, Remy’s from Torquay and Josh is from Kingsbridge
What are your musical influences?
Vinyl records! Foo Fighters, The Police, Big Country, Kings of Leon, The Script, Razorlight and U2. Anthemic live rock in big stadiums! Along with some classical vocal training and a background playing in orchestras.
3 Days of Wonder are a band with their eyes firmly fixed on the big time. Just one look at their lively performances or a listen to the hook-filled choruses in their recordings and you’ll find that this is a band operating well above their tender years. Lead singer Luke even sounds like he would fit in more with some of the grandiose voices of the 80s than the vocal stylings of the modern-day, something that helps give the band their distinctive flavour.
They’re a band that is driving onwards and upwards. Clubs. Halls. Arenas. Stadiums! They want them all. And yet, there is an earnestness to their ambition that is rare to come across. This isn’t a goal built on arrogance or ego, but rather on a dream — a dream that all started from the humblest of origins.
We started small, but we’re built for stadiums.
Singer Luke, drummer Theo and lead guitarist Remy all met at a youth music project in South Devon, seeking to find like-minded people of their own age to simply play some tunes with. In the safe space of this charity-driven initiative, the trio found each other and bonded over their shared influences. From there, they started jamming together constantly, figuring out how to interact with one another in a band dynamic, honing their chops to the point of reflex. Later, they were joined by bassist Josh and the lineup was complete. 3 Days of Wonder had arrived.
Unlike many who fall into the “rock-star ego” trappings, their focus wasn’t on themselves individually, but on how to operate as a unit — an approach that became the key to establishing their sound. Rather than leaving the songwriting efforts to one member of the group, 3 Days of Wonder write all their songs together, a fact of which they are proud. While Luke writes the lyrics and crafts the core of the melody, each member of the band gets to put their stamp on every song, contributing instrumental ideas or vocal parts to fully realise the potential of each idea.
It’s an approach that paid off. In 2023 they released their first recordings, the three-track EPs Time Well Wasted and Eyes Wide Open, which saw them win Smart Radio 101’s “Best Newcomer 2023”. Soon they were on the road, impressing audiences with their energetic performances and catchy choruses, eventually leading to more high-profile shows. Moving up to larger venues can be daunting to anyone, but 3 Days of Wonder have been preparing for the big stages since they started, so the scope of their sound means they’re not out of place on sizeable stages like the Exeter Phoenix.
It’s clear the band have a great reverence for the trailblazers of the 80s and rock’s last great wave of anthem-makers such as Kings of Leon and Foo Fighters. To put it plainly, when you look at their inspirations, the band has never had any intention of playing it small.
It stands to reason then that The Boss, Bruce Springsteen, is one of 3 Days of Wonder’s biggest influences — a man who has created huge, chart-topping hits and filled arenas all over the world but always managed to stay true to his roots. It’s the blueprint the band are following: get bigger, get better, but always stay authentic.
3 Days of Wonder are a group whose eyes are full of dreams and who have more than enough years ahead of them to see them all realised. But wherever they go, no matter how big the stage or how lofty the heights, they will always be the same boys who met at their youth music project, jamming away and learning how to play together. The songs may be bigger, the guitars louder, but the same heart remains at the centre.

Our biggest festival moment to date has been an invitation from Dan Pascoe at BBC Introducing SW to the Boardmasters‘ View stage in August 2026. The email came in, and I literally shouted so loud that my poor cats legged it out of my house thinking that Armageddon had come!
The festival scene down in the South West is mega, with glorious weather and festival-goers who love a party and a dress-up! We have had the huge honour of playing Mainstages at Great Estate Festival, Tunes on the Sands Festival, Pentunes and Shebfest.
Proud to be on the MainStage line-up for the inaugural Morvala Festival and playing on the sister festival Kernowfonia, alongside Devon’s smaller festival with a big heart, Altitude Festival.
We are proudly representing the South West on the RISE stage at Henley Festival, the only black-tie festival! We are one of only 5 bands selected to play over the 5-day festival and follow the Sugababes!
Dear to our hearts is the Test Fest, based in Taunton, a charity-based festival with the mission to raise awareness of testicular cancer. This year’s dress theme is superheroes, so I’m looking forward to wearing our underpants!!
We 100% believe in service and have been fundraising for the Music Venue Trust for 2 years now at The Barrel House Ballroom, Totnes. Our passion for supporting grassroots music is so integral, as we recognise that we wouldn’t have these festival opportunities without having played these incredible local venues.
