Thu 28 May 2026, Barnfield Theatre, Exeter

Overlooking the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles Sunset Strip, Laurel Canyon hosted a community of musicians through the 1960s and 70s forming a hive of creativity in the age of hippies and flower power. Amongst Laurel Canyons residents were the likes of Neil Young, James Taylor, Carole King, Eagles, The Doors and Joni Mitchell. In the first half of this concert you will hear a live 6-piece band perform music from the artists listed above as well as many other Laurel Canyon residents during this time. In the second half, the band will perform in its entirety Joni Mitchells 1971 album Blue. A songwriting masterclass, Blue includes some of Jonis finest work including Little Green, River, A Case of You and California.
