A live concert by the North Coast Choir, a community choir based in Cornwall. This concert is in support of fundraising by one of its members, Martin Searle, who is doing this year's Pedal4Patients cycling challenge in September in memory of his late wife, Nicky, who passed away in February 2025 after a brave fight against secondary breast cancer. Martin will be 70 by the date of the challenge, which involves cycling an average of 60 miles per day over 3 days and approximately 12,000 feet of hill climbing. All proceeds will support the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Charity, which enhances care at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust beyond the basic provision of the NHS. During her chemotherapy treatment Nicky benefitted from the work of the Charity in a number of ways which helped her physical and mental wellbeing. The choir will be singing a varied selection of rock and pop covers as well as several original songs composed by its inspirational choir leaders, Luke and Elle Spurrell.
