Description: Talented young Jazz musicians from across Gloucestershire will be indulging in a balcony bar summer gig of their very finest, most entertaining and vibrantly interactive repertoire from their 2025-26 year! The Gloucestershire Youth Jazz Combo (GYJC) are a group of musicians from Gloucestershire Music who love improvising and performing in a small group. As any quality Jazz band does, they choose their own favourite repertoire, adapt, arrange and give all pieces their own unique charm and style. This is the bands first ever performance at Stroud Brewery and is a fantastic opportunity to showcase and you to enjoy their wide Jazz interests and the significant repertoire they have been rehearsing since September 2025. By the time this gig comes round, GYJC will have performed at the Cheltenham Pump Rooms, Cheltenham Town Hall in the Music for Youth Regional festival, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, the Upton Jazz Festival Rising Stars programme and their own county Jazz centre concert at Gupshill Manor in Tewkesbury.
