Sat 30 May 2026, Cathedral Green, Exeter
Exeter Morris will celebrate an impressive 75 years of dance, music and community with a vibrant Day of Dance in the city centre on Saturday 30 May 2026. With "a full day programme 10:00–16:30" and Cathedral Green as the main hub, the event brings together 16 Morris sides from across the South West, offering a colourful rolling showcase of Cotswold, Border, North West Clog and Appalachian traditions. Visitors can enjoy lively performances at several central locations as dancers and musicians fill the streets with rhythm, energy and spectacle. Exeter Morris describe the day as "a spectacle of colour and sound" marking their three quarters of a century as Devon's oldest Morris side, founded in 1951. Local businesses and passers by can expect a friendly, uplifting atmosphere designed to draw people into the city centre and celebrate Exeter's cultural vibrancy.
