Experience the Ultimate Friday Night Out in Exeter Looking for a night out that is completely different from the usual pub or club scene? Club Ceilidh is bringing its legendary, high-energy folk dance party back to Exeter on Friday, May 1st. After an amazing launch that saw over 80 dancers take to the floor, we are ready to do it all over again at the America Hall in Pinhoe. Whether you are a seasoned ceilidh pro or you have never heard of a "Dashing White Sergeant" in your life, this is the night for you. We believe that dancing is for everyone, which is why our events are designed to be inclusive, welcoming, and, above all, incredibly fun. What is Club Ceilidh? For the uninitiated, a ceilidh (pronounced kay-lee) is a traditional Gaelic social gathering involving folk music and group dancing. But this isn't your average village hall dance. Club Ceilidh takes that traditional foundation and turns the volume up. We focus on fast-paced, high-energy dances that get your heart racing and a smile on your face. The best part? You don't need a partner and you definitely don't need to know the steps. Our expert "caller" Christian walks everyone through the moves before each dance starts, so you'll never feel lost. By the second tune, the whole room is spinning, laughing, and moving in sync. It is the perfect way to meet new people, get some exercise, and let off steam after a long work week. We can't wait to see you on the floor on June 5th. Let's make this another night to remember!
