Cathy Thompson and friends return to All Saints Church, Bisley with a varied programme including Mozart, Max Richter and Grieg. They will delight you with some of the most beautiful film scores from Hamnet, William Walton's Film Suite from King Henry V and Shadowlands. Were particularly excited to announce that Caroline Daly is joining her. Caroline has performed internationally with renowned ensembles including the Nigel Kennedy Quartet and the English Chamber Orchestra, where she currently serves as principal cellist and soloist. Her versatile career spans multiple genres; a prolific film score catalogue, including solo features: 1917, Hilary and Jackie, Atonement, and Truly Madly Deeply, concerto appearances with major UK orchestras plus recording and touring credits alongside artists such as David Gilmour, Peter Gabriel, Sinad OConnor, U2, and David Gray. Cathy Thompson - Violin An extremely versatile, experienced and accomplished performer and composer, Cathy has played in numerous concerts with a great variety of artists, most notably with the Michael Nyman Band, Peter Gabriel, Sting and The Stone Roses. She spent a year touring with U2. Cathy became a member of the Medici String Quartet in 1994. A member of the London Metropolitan Orchestra, The London Session Orchestra and The New Blood Orchestra, Cathy is a dynamic live performer who has played in many prestigious concerts across the globe.
