Things Happen Here
About Things Happen Here:
Things Happen Here is a 220-capacity taproom, venue and record label.
Our second venue, CLASH, has a more laid-back ‘lounge’ vibe and also hosts DJs, bands, book launches, and comedy.
The team behind Things Happen Here and CLASH are passionate about music, beer and bringing people together.
Every month, we host multiple events at both venues, including national touring artists, comedy, taproom takeovers, local DJs and musicians, Morris dancing, record, art and book fairs, book launches, and community-based events.
We support our local scene by giving local people opportunities. We support the national grassroots music scene by booking artists we genuinely like for an appreciative local audience.
Some of the artists that have played at Things Happen Here include Discharge, Jimi Tenor, The Bluetones, Stick In The Wheel, DJ Yoda, The Orb and Deaf Club.
We want Things Happen Here to be a space where people make beautiful connections and the best memories, have fun, share ideas and get inspired. It’s all in the name…
