About VVILLAIN:

William Kornegay, professionally known as VVILLAIN, is a bass music artist whose career began in Guam in 2022 under the alias Spinal Tap. Born in Nashville, Tennessee and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Kornegay found creative roots in Guam, quickly embedding himself in the island’s growing electronic music scene.

In 2023, he co-founded SWR2GOD alongside Guam-based artists RIIIO and Wubble T. The collective quickly became Guam’s premier EDM platform, later adding emerging artists such as QUIN and Flapjacks. Through SWR2GOD, Kornegay rose rapidly in prominence, headlining and co-headlining numerous events at Drop Lounge and Club Zoh, Guam’s largest nightclub. His momentum peaked with SWR2GOD Presents Homecoming – Bear Grillz in January 2025, where he served as the direct opener for Bear Grillz in a back-to-back set with Wubble T. Later in 2025, Kornegay was instrumental in the planning and execution of the SWR2GOD Stage at Electric Island Festival 2025, where he also headlined—marking a defining moment for both his career and the Guam bass community. As his time on the island came to an end, he rebranded in July 2025 as VVILLAIN, reflecting a darker, heavier sonic direction rooted in dubstep and riddim.

Now UK-based, VVILLAIN won the SYN LDN DJ Contest in October 2025 and closed the BabyBox stage at Ministry of Sound, London during the Monstercat x Future showcase—signalling his transition from regional standout to international contender.
