The Horizons

About The Horizons:

The Horizons are an indie rock band from Plymouth, Southwest UK, delivering a punchy blend of indie, rock, grunge and punk driven by big riffs and crowd-fuelled choruses.

Formed in 2018 by Tom and Kobain, the band expanded with guitarist Sam a few years later, locking in a sound that’s raw, melodic and built for the live stage.

Inspired by bands such as Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Muse, Soundgarden, Queens of the Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys and Kings of Leon, The Horizons balance gritty guitar tones with passionate, anthemic songwriting.

Their music draws from personal experiences — love, betrayal, friendship and the reality of growing up by the sea — giving their songs both emotional weight and relatable honesty.

Renowned for their high-octane live performances, The Horizons average 60–70 gigs a year across the Southwest music scene.

They’ve brought their explosive guitar sound to venues and festivals including Boardmasters, Lakefest, Tunes in the Dunes, Tunes in the Park, Looe Fest and Jurassic Fields Fest, among many others.

With momentum firmly behind them, the band are set to release their debut album on 13 March 2026.
