About Tarrion:
The Tarrion are Jack Harris on drums, percussion and tape decks; Danny Brooks on guitar and backing vocals; Stan Ware on 5-string bass guitar & Chris Muirhead on vocals, nightmare box and cello.
Danny joined us in February 2025 as we developed the project, but the three of us were all members of experimental rock act Aches from 2017 till 2024, until that project came to an amicable end.
Thematically, we are influenced by science fiction, cosmic horror and dystopian fiction.
Musically, our influences range from aggressive blues, anti-vaudeville, modern noise rock, avant-garde crooner, abrasive trip-hop, gothic soundscaping, and punishing krautrock.
