About Sound of Fable:
Sound of Fable is a Cornwall-based indie/new wave band built on the fusion of layered guitars, piano textures and deeply expressive storytelling.
Formed around the creative partnership of Noel and Kyla Prior, the project began as an intimate songwriting collaboration before evolving into a full band.
Their early releases — Circus of Words (2012), All the Colours (2013) and Dynamo Daisy (2013) — captured distinct chapters of both personal and artistic growth, rooted in life in Cornwall’s clay country and shaped by themes of love, change and identity.
After a twelve-year hiatus, Sound of Fable return with a bold, expanded sound.
Their new single “In It Together”, recorded in the South West and mixed at RAK Studios, London, marks the first release from their upcoming album Quiet Firing.
