Scott Anchors & The Heavyweights
About Scott Anchors & The Heavyweights:
From the sun-kissed coast of North Devon comes Scott Anchors & The Heavyweights. The former Black Anchors frontman is joined by long-time friends and collaborators Lewis Chappell (guitar), Toby Parker (drums) and Nathan Layland (bass). 2025 is set to be a busy year for the band with the release of their debut album "Strange Weather", which explores influences from jangle pop, indie rock and Americana with a sound described as reminiscent of the 90s radio rock scene. The title track, "Strange Weather," features pedal steel from Jon Graboff, who has played with/for Ryan Adams & The Cardinals, Noel Gallagher & Willie Nelson, among others.
