About Harvey & Webber:

Harvey & Webber is a brand-new collaboration between multi-instrumentalist J Francis Harvey and lyrical poet Simone Webber, exploring what happens when songwriting is driven by poetry.

The story began on a long train journey when Webber wondered if she could turn her poetry into lyrics. After much table-tapping, the bones of a song emerged, and she winged it at Harvey to see if it was any use.

Amazingly, he could instantly hear the melody that belonged to the words, so we started a project exploring what happens when you apply songwriting and a lot of instruments to poetry.

Harvey sings and plays all the instruments, layering them up to create a multi-faceted, towering sound that follows the cadence of the words. The resulting songs are soaring, epic tales that try to capture the complexities of how we interact with the world and make sense of them through music.

Our first single will be released on Friday, 20th February, and we expect to release a few more by the end of the year.
